Samuel Adams, MDBoard Eligible Orthopedic Spine Surgeon
Dr. Samuel Adams is a board-eligible orthopedic-spine surgeon. He recently completed an orthopedic-spine fellowship at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Dr. Adams specializes in cervical and lumbar spinal fusions, cervical disc replacements, microdiscectomies, scoliosis surgeries for adults, decompression surgeries and minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Adams earned his medical degree at the University of Toledo College of Medicine in Toledo, Ohio. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA, where he met Dr. Michael Montano, who was chief resident at the time. Dr. Montano is one of the founding partners of Pioneer Peak Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Adams is new to Alaska--he arrived in the Mat-Su Valley in August, and is eager to serve the spine-care needs of our growing community. In his time away from work, Dr. Adams enjoys the abundant outdoor recreation activities of the region--fishing, hiking and the majestic scenery.
